Acrylic Resins - Water-Based

Acrylic resins are synthesized from a wide range of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid ester monomers, as well as monomers with various functional groups. Since these monomers have good miscibility, they can be easily polymerized and copolymerized with other monomers. Additionally, by using monomers with different functional groups during polymerization, a resin with varying degrees of cross-linking properties can be prepared. Thermoplastic acrylic resins have a high molecular weight, and bonding occurs through the absorption or evaporation of water by the material.

The advantages of water-based acrylic resins include high flexibility, resistance to discoloration over time, strong adhesion, ease of use, and being environmentally friendly.
